Ingrid Michaelson Concert

Just thought I'd show a little bit of my rockin' side (and my inability to flash gang signs). We went to an Ingrid Michaelson concert in November at the Great American Music Hall, which is just about the best venue I've ever been too, very small and intimate, we were close to the back and we could still see all of the performer's faces. One of the opening performers was Newton Faulkner, who I'd never heard of, but if you ever have the chance to see him in concert, take it, because he's a performer through and through. I really enjoyed his music, but he was even funnier when he wasn't playing.

Tech Savvy

Theresa's helping me to be more tech savvy today, so I'm starting a real post to my blog! Amazing, imagine me, trying to actually keep in contact with the outside world. This could be the start of something beautiful.

So,.... A lot has happened since my last post. .. Somewhere between here and there I went to Israel with some friends in my ward. I've been thinking about moving to Portugal,....uh,.... portland,.... maybe it's the same difference to my friends,... j/k..... I also made a trip to the redwood forest. Yay. Tulsa wanted to come along, but I didn't tell her about the trip so she couldn't tag along. I came and stayed with my family in Utah sometime this summer too because I knew if I slept over at Suzanne's house my family would feel bad. So all and all it's been a long and eventful year so far.

The Highlight of my summer was going down to vegas for work or something er other I had to do. It just so happened that my best pal KT was in town for her sister's wedding and Tulsa T came down because she heard I was going to be there and her dad agreed to pay for the gas to bring her sister to the bridal shower anyway so it all worked out. Unfortunately we didn't get any pics from the weekend, but it's ok. We have the memories I guess. You'll just have to be satisfied with this little treat. :) Next time Tulsa will have to remember that she had her camera sitting right there in her purse the entire time we were together! duh,... :) Oh well se la vie,... Looking forward to our next get together yay! :)

apparently I'm going to israel

So,.. apparently I'm going to Israel to stay with my roomies family. It should be great! I'm not sure when I'm leaving though. The interesting thing is that I might be going to israel the same time that my good friend Tulsa T's husband Angus is going to be in Jerusalem. who knows if we will run into each other. Not likely unless we tried to see each other.

I'm going to be sure to be careful because Tulsa is worried for my safety. Having heard Stories from Angus about how women are treated there in public it makes me a little nervous,..but I'm going to stick close to my roommates family and I know they'll take good care of me while I am staying at their house. We're not going to be going anywhere alone or unaccompanied, because that would just be plain dumb! :) but at any rate. I will have to post some pictures when I get back of how fun the trip was,... that should be interesting. :)

In other news life is going good. life is good. Things are moving along and I am busy. I'm going to try and time my trip to visit KT in August with the times that Tulsa is going to also be there. I know Tulsa will be there for CC's wedding on the 8th weekend,.. and also that she is planning to be there the weekend of her birthday after a family trip to Disneyland so it should be fun,.. Hopefully I will make it to Vegas one of those weekends.

10 years ago: I was a freshman in high school at LVHS and I must have been in band or something because what else would I be doing. I remember I spent time with KT and Elise but I had a lot of friends from my ward too. I think I went home for lunches with Brad and the Gang or something.

1. Go on a date sometime this week. . . . running out of time since it's friday already.

Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:

1. I would save 90% of it or donate a certain percentage of it to charity or the church.
   
2. I would spend the rest of my life living of the other 10%.
   
3. I would go bargain shopping for as many things as I could find on sale as I could.
   
4. I would buy a house and a couple of the things I've always wanted to have but felt like were extravagances.
   
5. and on all of that, I'd stay with in my 10% budget since I'm super frugal!

2. ok ok,.. since you're making me put something,... I guess I have a bad habit of dating too many guys.... NO,... not all at the same time!!
3. and,... I never answer emails if I can help it or write entries in my blog. ;)
